My dear mentor and friend Jane Manning with Jane's Minstrels perform my setting of three poems e.e.cummings. Dear Jane and her husband, composer Anthony Payne, passed away last year and are greatly missed by all who knew them.

The Quickening of a Summer's Morn

Written while a was a Ph.D. candidate at the Eastman School of Music, my  colleague Jeff Renshaw conducted the premiere with the Eastman Wind Ensemble.

American Mosaic

This three movement orchestral work was premiered by the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra and the Minnesota Ballet.  The ballet danced in front of the orchestra!

Words of War/Letters of War

This work features narration of war letters and sung war poetry of American poets . It was written in response to the losses in all wars. Rep. Jay Kaufman, narrator, Melanie Salisbury, soprano,
